5 Days Northern Safari

A 5-day safari itinerary covering Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengeti National Park is an excellent way to explore some of Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destinations. These parks are known for their abundant wildlife, stunning landscapes, and diverse ecosystems, providing a memorable safari experience. Below is a suggested itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Arusha, Tanzania.

Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha at Karibu heritage house based in bed and breakfast ,where you can rest and prepare for the upcoming safari adventure 

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park (about a 2-hour drive).

Spend the day exploring Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds, diverse birdlife, and baobab trees.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

In the late afternoon, head to your lodge at Kankari lodge based in full board breakfast lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most incredible natural wonders.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater, which is home to a vast array of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino).

Have a picnic lunch by the hippo pool.

In the late afternoon, ascend back to the crater and heading to Serengeti national park for dinner and overnight at African safari camp ikoma based in full board breakfast lunch and dinner

Day 4: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, depart from lodge to Serengeti national park one of Africa's most famous and vast wildlife reserves.

The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration, but even outside migration season, the park offers exceptional game viewing opportunities.

Enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring different regions of the Serengeti and spotting a wide variety of wildlife.

Picnic lunch inside the park.

Evening drive to your lodge African safari camp ikoma for dinner and overnight. Based in full board breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 5. Serengeti national park to Arusha town.or airport

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, with a game drive en route.

Enter the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and proceed with a game drive.

The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and offers excellent opportunities to spot predators and other wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

In the late afternoon, start making your way back to Arusha or airport continue your journey to other destinations.
